EPD/ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION
Teqton can provide an EPD that documents the environmental properties of our delivery.
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), known as an 'environmental product declaration' in Danish, documents whether a building product meets the environmental properties and standards established in European and international countries.
At Teqton, we create environmental product declarations (EPDs) that inform builders, architects, and consultants about how much optimization can be done to achieve sustainable constructions.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
There are several changes in constructions that can be made to reduce the CO2 footprint. In the construction itself, wall thickness, insulation, and reinforcement can be adjusted, or products with a lower CO2 footprint can be used in general.
It is also possible to use recycled concrete, which we also offer in our delivery. By using remnants from our own production when casting the floors, the CO2 footprint is reduced as well. However, it can also be recycled concrete from demolished buildings, which is documented.
